About service:
Occupational Therapy helps clients relearn essential skills for independent living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, cooking, and managing the home. It is especially beneficial for clients with neurological conditions, arthritis, stroke, or developmental disabilities.
How it works:
A licensed OT performs a functional evaluation to identify barriers to independence. The therapist then works with the client to develop goals and implement adaptive techniques and strategies to complete daily tasks safely and efficiently.
Other Info:
Includes home safety assessments and training in the use of assistive devices. We offer specialized programs for Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and post-stroke recovery.
